Join Pageturners for Discussions of "Picking Cotton" in March

Published Mar 20, 2014
Pageturners, Schoolcraft College’s book discussion club, is hosting several discussions of Picking Cotton, the true story of how Jennifer Thompson-Cannino picked Ronald Cotton out of a line-up as the man who raped her. Cotton was convicted and spent 11 years in prison before DNA evidence proved he was innocent. In their own words, Jennifer and Ronald unfold the harrowing details of their tragedy, and challenge our ideas of memory and judgment while demonstrating the profound nature of human grace and the healing power of forgiveness.
