Gerardo Ascheri is an active teacher, music advocate, arranger, soloist and chamber musician. He holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a doctoral degree in Musical Arts from Michigan State University where he studied with Ralph Votapek. Dr. Ascheri directs the Piano Programs at Schoolcraft.
Paul Michalsen is Director of the Wind Ensemble at Schoolcraft College. He is an educator, musician and clinician who has performed across the United States and Great Britain and is the founding director of the Plymouth Brass Ensemble, a professional performance ensemble.
Barton Polot is a versatile instructor at Schoolcraft College where he teaches music theory and ear training, electronic music composition and is responsible for the music technology program. He is a widely-known national clinician, lecturer and author on applications of technology in music education.
The Noon Concert events are free, open to the public and last approximately one hour.
