Pete Siers is an accomplished jazz percussionist known for his hard-swinging sound and dynamic versatility. A resident of Ann Arbor, Pete performs throughout Michigan and regularly tours the United States. In addition to his recording and performance career, Pete has also taught jazz drumming for over 25 years.
Dave Bennett is often referred to a modern day Benny Goodman, but his skills and experience make his much more. Bennett is a modern prodigy of the clarinet, being mostly self taught beyond high school. Growing up in Waterford, Michigan, Bennett gained early renown at 17 when he was chosen to perform with the Count Basie Orchestra.
Tad Weed is a powerhouse pianist who has played with jazz greats ranging from John Patitucci to Woody Herman. Tad offers a diverse selection of music genres and skills which which he displays with the Pete Siers Trio by serving as both pianist and bass player.
The Noon concerts are free, open to the public and last approximately one hour.
