What is the GED® test?

The GED® (General Education Development) is a series of five tests that measure knowledge and skills typically learned in high school. For registration and testing information, contact the Testing Center. Common information and form downloads are listed below:

Note: The current version of the GED® test is expiring at the end of 2013. Your scores will expire if you don’t finish and pass the test before January 1, 2014. The new GED® test will be aligned with current high school curriculum.

The Testing Center will resume GED testing in the spring of 2014 after the Center completes a move to a new location. Detailed information about the GED exam can be found at
