Managing the stress of school, work and personal commitments and using time-management skills to create an effective balance can be a challenge for some students. Counselors are also available to provide assistance or referrals in dealing with these and other personal issues that may be impacting your success as a Schoolcraft student.
Workshops, seminars and support groups also provide another resource for students coping with a variety of circumstances including annual depression and substance abuse awareness series, a Divorce Support Group, Money Matters in Divorce and Ask an Attorney monthly information sessions.
Schoolcraft also provides an extensive network of resources to meet the unique needs of veterans, students with disabilities and international students, and has a Special Populations Program for non-traditional college students.

Online Mental Health Screening and Resources Tool Now Available
One of the really valuable resources the Counseling Department provides is a confidential online mental health screening tool for depression, anxiety, alcohol, and eating disorders. This free screening is made available to all Schoolcraft College students, staff, and faculty. All screenings are taken anonymously. The screening is provided so that you may find out - in just a few minutes - whether or not professional consultation would be helpful to you.
In addition, if you're looking for more information or have questions, there are also a variety of resources available on this website, including videos, health care resources, and related articles. The videos address many topics. Through both interviews and acted scenarios, the videos reassure viewers that no one is alone - that there's help for everyone. If you have questions about mental health topics or want more facts, the section on related articles provides downloadable documents with important data and statistics.
