Course Description

Learn to make traditional and authentic Mexican food with your own two hands from Mexican native, Chef Ana Perez. Each class will offer a totally new cooking experience with an assortment of distinctive entrees, side dishes, soups and desserts. See and taste the distinctive flavors, variety of spices and ingredients, and colorful decoration of Mexican cuisine. Bring a little piece of Mexico home to your family. Wear a white chef's jacket, dark pants and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Bring a tool kit with the following: a paring and chef's knife; peeler; and measuring spoons. Prerequisite: CES 2187 Cooking 101 Skill Development or with instructor's approval.
