Course Description

Having trouble remembering what you've read? Do you waste too much time trying to figure out words while reading? This class will help! Build comprehension, and increase vocabulary through course materials which feature high-interest topics and are designed to motivate reluctant readers. Reading strategies include: finding the main idea, identifying cause and effect, sequencing, comparing and contrasting, making inferences, drawing conclusions, summarizing, and more. This class is not intended for special education students and IEP students.
