Please come and join us for this annual event which is designed to observe the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. This is a great way for anyone to learn about the U.S. Constitution whether you are a student, faculty or part of the community. All that you will need to do is join us in Waterman 210B.
Alec Thomson, Ph.D. one of our Associate Professors of Political Science/History will be leading the discussion. The theme this year is the Watergate Scandal. Over 40 years ago the scandal exploded into the American consciousness and while many Americans are well-versed in the events of the day it is worth revisiting this constitutional crisis. The event will offer up an excellent primer on the key events and actors of the Watergate Scandal. There will be free pocket-sized copies of the Constitution available to all attendees.
This event is free and open to the public.
