Educators Can Take Advantage of New Google Docs Class

     Several Michigan school districts are now using Google Apps for Education, and some districts outside the state require its use.  This fall, Schoolcraft College Continuing Education and Professional Development is offering a new class, Google Docs: Computing in the Cloud, for the first time beginning Oct. 9.This four-week, hands-on class will help teachers become comfortable and competent with cloud computing.  Topics to be addressed included hardware and software, Internet resources, networking and security, mobile computing and how to use, share and edit with Google Docs.  The class is approved for 12 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) for educators.  For more information, contact the CEPD office at 734-462-4448
