Annual School Daze Winter Carnival is Jan. 22 &23

     This year’s annual School Daze event will feature a winter carnival theme. School Daze is a great opportunity for students to start off the winter semester, meet new people, get information about activities and events on campus, and learn more about the dozens of student groups and clubs they can get involved in.

     In keeping with the carnival atmosphere the Student Activities Office will be offering free popcorn, and guest can enjoy other sweet treats including hot chocolate, caramel corn, caramel apples, cotton candy and the ever popular 50-cent hot dog. Clubs and organizations on campus and area vendors will also be hosting a variety of games and other prizes. Other attractions will include the Schoolcraft College version of the popular game show Minute to Win It, a DJ, free chair massages courtesy of the college’s massage therapy program, psychic readings, caricature drawings, Wii Winter Sports games sponsored by the Edgerunner Ski Club and more.

     The School Daze Winter Carnival 2014 will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 22 and Thurs., Jan. 23, in the Lower Waterman Area of the VisTaTech Center on the main campus in Livonia. Admission to School Daze is free and open to the public. Some activities and food items require a nominal fee. For more information call 734-462-4422.
