March Series of Library workshops for Schoolcraft Students and Faculty

The Bradner Library is pleased to offer a series of five workshops for students, faculty and staff for the month of March. Please view the events calendar for further details.

EBSCO Discovery Service. This workshop will introduce students, faculty and staff to the resources that are available through the new EBSCO Discovery Service. Many types of search strategies will be demonstrated.

Locating Resources for Free eBooks. This workshop will introduce students, faculty and staff to the wide range of free eBook resources that are available. The Springer eBook collection, EBSCO eBook Collection, and Humanities eBook Collection library databases will also be demonstrated.

Discovering Graphic Novels. This workshop will introduce students, faculty and staff to the wonderful world of graphic novels. The discussion will examine popular graphic novel works and also the resources that are available to learn more about them. 

Getting the Most out of Google Scholar. This workshop will introduce students, faculty and staff to the many useful features of Google Scholar and how it can be used to complement existing Schoolcraft College library database access.

Go2Knowledge. This workshop will introduce faculty and staff to the professional development resources that are available through the Go2Knowledge database.
