Panel Discussion: What’s Up with the Violence Against Women?

On Thursday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. Pageturners Book Club will host a panel discussion focusing on the violence against women. Schoolcraft College English professor Helen Ditouras will facilitate the discussion on the rising violence against women and what can be done about it. Ditouras will be joined on the panel by fellow by Catherine Bunker, a survivor advocate from First Step Project on Domestic and Sexual Violence; Chief Steven Kaufman, Schoolcraft College Campus Police Authority; and fellow faculty members: Dr. Lisa Jackson (psychology), Josselyn Moore (sociology/anthropology) and Karen Schaumann (sociology/anthropology). The panel discussion is free and open to the public. In the VisTaTech Center at the main campus in Livonia.
