Dinner Theatre Performances, 6:30 p.m., Fri. and Sat., Mar. 21-22 and 28-29, VisTaTech Center
Theatre Performance only, 8 p.m., Fri., and Sat., Apr. 4-5, Liberal Arts Theatre
A smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic offers up fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, remarried but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira, who is called up by a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati. During a séance, which Charles agrees to hold to gather material for his book, his first wife comes back from the other side. At first only Charles can hear and see Elvira. This makes for some humorous confusion between Charles and his current wife. This fast-paced comedy is one not to be missed.
