Friday Evening Music Series gets underway Oct. 16 with pianist Ralph Votapek
Ralph Votapek, pianist, will perform Friday, October 16 at 8 p.m. in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center. Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for students. Season tickets for the full 2009-10 series are $70. To order tickets visit www.scboxoffice.com
Free Halloween Concert and Costume Parade is Oct. 25
Schoolcraft College’s Annual Halloween Concert and Parade will be held Sunday, October 25 at 7 p.m. at Radcliff Center in Garden City and is free and open to the public. Donations, however, are always welcome.

Following the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in 2001, the security industry has seen tremendous growth, both in the number of jobs to be filled and in the scope of the work security professionals perform. One of the fastest growing specialties in this field is homeland security.
