Synthesizer Ensemble to perform at Electronic Music Summit on December 2

Schoolcraft College's Synthesizer Ensemble will perform at the Electronic Music Summit on Thursday, December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Schaver Music Recital Hall at Wayne State University. U-M's Digital Music Ensemble and WSU's Electronic Music Ensemble will also perform in this unique opportunity for the community to experience this emerging form of musical expression. Admission is $5.00 per person.

Open House for Veterans on November 11

Schoolcraft College invites military veterans to a special Open House on Thursday, November 11 from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. The college's Veterans Services office is located in the Transition Center in the McDowell Center on the college's main campus in Livonia. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about all veteran educational benefits, including the Post 9-11 GI Bill, which features the option of transferring educational benefits to dependents.

Tickets are only $5.00 and all proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. See two great basketball games and lots of other entertainment. The women team tip off at 5:30 p.m. The men take the court at 7:30 p.m. Go Ocelots!

Tickets are still available for Breakfast with Santa December 18

Schoolcraft College's annual Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $20 for children and $15 for adults and must be purchased in advance by calling 734-462-4422 or by visiting the Student Activities Office.

Evening Concert Series kicks off season November 19 with pianist Antonio Pampa-Baldi

The Schoolcraft College Friday Evening Concert Series will kick off the 2010-11 concert season with pianist Antonio Pampa-Baldi performing November 19 at 8 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. Tickets for the concert are $20 per person ($10 for students). Season tickets for all four concerts are also available for $70 per person.

Gingerbread Village on display through December 16

The public is welcome to visit Schoolcraft College to experience an entire village made of gingerbread, candy and the imaginations of culinary arts students.  The "Children's Christmas Stories" themed fantasy village will be on display until December 16 in the lobby of the VisTaTech Center.
