Schoolcraft College’s Music Department will present a free concert on Wednesday, February 24. Members of the Plymouth Symphony will perform under the direction of nationally acclaimed Music Director and Conductor, Nan Washburn.

Pink Zone on Feb. 17 proceeds will support breast cancer research

The Pink Zone event features a doubleheader of basketball versus Henry Ford Community College. All proceeds from the evening’s festivities will benefit the Kay Yow WBCA Breast Cancer Research Fund. Tickets for the basketball games, which begin at 5:30 p.m. for the women and 7:30 p.m. for the men, are only $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.

Orwell's classic "1984" to be discussed in February

Dr. Mark Huston, professor of philosophy, will lead a special Panel Discussion about George Orwell's classic novel, "1984," on Tuesday, February 23 at 1:30 in the VisTaTech Center. Regular discussions of “1984” will be Monday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bradner Library and at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 at the Radcliff Center in Garden City.
