College hosts first "Human Library" on March 15
On Monday, March 15, Schoolcraft College will host its first Human Library event from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the college's VisTaTech Center.

On Wednesday, March 24, three accomplished members of the Schoolcraft College Music Department's faculty will perform a free concert at noon in the VisTaTech Center.
Basketball team makes return trip to NJCAA tourney
The women's basketball team is in familar territory: The NJCAA Division II National Tournament. Last year the Ocelots came one win shy of winning their first-ever national title. You can follow the action at the NJCAA's tournament Web site, which features live video streaming of every game.

Homeland Security Program at Schoolcraft College 2009-10
Following the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in 2001, the security industry has seen tremendous growth, both in the number of jobs to be filled and in the scope of the work security professionals perform. One of the fastest growing specialties in this field is homeland security.
Open House March 16 will feature Kids on Campus summer camp programs
Attendees of the Open House will be able to meet with instructors, ask questions, visit the campus, see class demonstrations and register for the more than 50 different week-long sessions, which run July 12-30. The Open House will be held from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center.

The annual Public Safety Expo will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Radcliff Center in Garden City. Potential employers will be on hand to accept resumes and answer questions about their programs. The expo is free and the public is invited.

Local historian to discuss Michigan Hospital School at luncheon on April 9
The Transition Center of Schoolcraft College will host Kim Giammarro, a local historian, Friday, April 9, 2010, for a luncheon and discussion of the Michigan Hospital School. Tickets are $16 per person and preregistration is required. To register call 734-462-4443.
