Area high school and college students and their families can investigate the programs of more than 80 colleges and universities during Schoolcraft College’s annual College Night on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 6 – 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the community.

Violinist, Gabriel Bolkosky, and pianist, Michele Cooker, to perform October 14

On Friday, October 14, 2011, Gabriel Bolkosky, violin, and Michele Cooker, piano, will kick off the 2011-12 Friday Evening Concert Series at Schoolcraft College. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center. Tickets are $20 per person or $10 for students with idenification.

On October 19, 2011, guests can learn more about the life and influences of Jane Johnston Schoolcraft, wife of the college's namesake, Henry Rowe Schoolcraft. Jane is the first known Native American literary writer and poet.

The Massage Therapy program will host two Open Houses. Anyone interested in learning more about this growing healthcare field can attend anytime between 1- 4 p.m. on Monday, September 26 or 4 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12.  The Open Houses will be held at the Radcliff Center in Garden City.
