Music of the Americans is theme for choral concert on April 17
Schoolcraft College's Choral Union and Chamber Singers will perform a free concert on Sunday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m. at Livonia's Greenmead Historical Park in the Newburg Methodist Church.
This season's concert, Music of the Americans, will feature choral music by Dilworth, Fine, Leavitt, Dennard, Adams and others as performed by the college's Choral Union and Chamber Singers, both under the direction of Jonathan Drake.
This annual celebration of the spring season, music, and the talent of these two vocal ensembles is free and open to the public. Freewill donations are accepted in support of the college's Music Department.
Greenmead Historical Park and the Newburg Methodist Church are located at the corner of Eight Mile Road and Newburgh Road in Livonia.
