On Thursday, October 13, 2011, students can learn from the experts about the many benefits of completing a college degree at a special Complete the Degree Fair from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Lower Waterman Wing of the VisTaTech Center.

Participants can meet with representatives from several four-year colleges and universities, including Wayne State University, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Madonna University and more. In addition, representatives from the four-year colleges and universities will host several presentations on a variety of subjects related to the value of transferring a Schoolcraft College degree in pursuit of a bachelor's (or higher) degree on the way to a successful career.

Schoolcraft advisers and counselors will be on hand to work with participants on creating a transfer plan, determining how close students are to completing a degree and what the next steps are. In addition, participants can learn about resume writing and job interviewing skills and the many resources available in the Schoolcraft College Career and Transfer Center.
