School Daze, Schoolcraft College's popular annual fall event, will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, September 19-20, 2012. The 'Monopoly'-themed event will be held under the 'big top' between the Forum and Liberal Arts buildings on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.
From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. faculty, staff and the community can enjoy the health and fitness themed displays and activities on Wednesday and then come back Thursday for a merchant themed day featuring local area businesses.
Back by popular demand is Schoolcraft's version of 'Minute It to Win It' game show. In addition participants can experience a NASCAR simulator sponsored by Bank of America and LaRiche Chevrolet, play video games with consoles and monitors provided by Project Playhem, enjoy a free chair massage courtesy of the college's Massage Therapy Program, capture the moment with the photo booth or the caricature artist, and much more. Fifty-cent hot dogs and twenty-five cent bags of chips will also be available for purchase with proceeds benefitting the Student Activities Office and more than 30 student clubs on campus.
