Complete the Degree event October 18

During the Complete the Degree Fair, students will be able to

  • Meet with representatives from 17 four-year universities and colleges
  • Explore the Degree Audit online tool for tracking progress toward a degree
  • Meet with counseling staff to plan next steps in completing a degree
  • Create a transfer plan
  • Learn resume writing and job interviewing skills

“Students who’ve earned community college degrees tend to do better at the four year institutions," said Nicole Wilson-Fennell, director of enrollment services and registrar. "Those who have completed the course requirements toward certifications or associate degrees still have to go through the process of obtaining the degree and applying for graduation." The Complete the Degree Fair is an effort to reach out to students so they complete the necessary steps to leave Schoolcraft with the degree that can aid them on the job market or transferring to another college. Learn more about the Complete the Degree Fair in The Schoolcraft Connection.

Students will need nothing more than a photo ID in order to attend the event, and maybe an idea of possible transfer colleges. The following schools will be present at the Complete the Degree event:
