Local author will discuss "The Twelve Gifts of Life" at Transition Center Luncheon

Local author, Cindy Champnella, will discuss her new book, The Twelve Gifts of Life, on Fri., Apr. 5, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. as part of the Transition Center's luncheon series. The luncheon and presentation will be held in the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Champnella, author and child advocate, has been featured on NBC’s “The John Walsh Show”, in over 350 newspapers, dozens of nationally and internationally syndicated radio programs including NPR's “Voice of America," and the “Mitch Albom Show." She will be sharing the message of her latest   book, The Twelve Gifts of Life,  which explores the truth that most of us never get a chance to make our mark of greatness on the world. We all want our  lives to matter and for the world to be marked in some small way by our journey. Join us in a compelling presentation of Champnella’s message on Apr. 5.

Tickets are $20 per person and include lunch. Reservations must be made in advance by Fri., Mar. 29.
