Africa is a land of many faces and diverse environments. Nearly one billion people and a stunning array of wildlife coexist on this enormous and complex piece of earth.

During the Fall Semester, special coursework, guest speakers, current events discussions and special events will enable the community to learn more about Africa, its people, its past and its future.

The Focus: Africa initiative culminates with Uzuri Wa Afrika: The Beauty of Africa, a celebration of African cultures on Wednesday, November 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center on the Livonia campus.
