Schoolcraft College's Collage XVIII Concert is Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and $3 for children and senior citizens.
     The 18th annual Collage Concert is a unique showcase of the college’s tremendous musical talent. The Collage Concert will feature the College’s four performing groups – the Wind Ensemble, Choral Union, Jazz Band, and Synthesizer Ensemble – in a rapid-fire succession of music. All four groups share the stage and segue from piece to piece without pausing for applause. The variety of music selected for this unique concert will amaze guests. Selections include Mozart and Chopin, music from Scotland and India, some ragtime, bebop, techno, arias, and a student composition.
     In addition to the college’s four performing groups special performances will include faculty members Donald Morelock on piano and vocalist Linda Meehan, as well as two vocal students.
