Winter Carnival Jan. 19-20 features a variety of fun activities for students

The Schoolcraft College Student Activities Office will host a Winter Carnival January 19-20 to welcome students back to campus after the winter break. The SAO will be providing FREE popcorn, cotton candy, carmel corn, carmel apples, games and prizes.  Each club and organization has been invited to display information about their group. This gathering is always a student and staff favorite. It will be held both days from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Lower Waterman (in the VisTaTech Center) on the Livonia Campus, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Attractions will include:
-Five cool video games to play on big screens courtesy of The Project Playhem Gaming Society
-Wii Winter Sports will be available courtesy of the Edgerunner Ski Club
-The Student Activities Office is sponsoring a “Rock, Paper, Scissor” contest(starting at 12:30 pm) and “Karaoke” Contest Daily(starting at 12:45 pm) with  $100 and $50 CASH prizes for winners of the week.

Other attractions include: FREE Chair massages courtesy of the Schoolcraft College Massage Therapy Program, Psychic Readings for $5 each, 50 cent hot dogs, FREE Popcorn, FREE caricature drawings, FREE Coffee and hot chocolate, FREE games and prizes from participating clubs and organizations,  and FREE samples from Zoup Soup, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bravo, TGI Fridays, Jimmy Johns and Coldstone Creamery.
