Regina Mosley believes students should be able to afford college without piling up huge debts. Since joining Schoolcraft in 2005, she has increased the amount of financial aid given out by 13.5 percent and the amount of money awarded by 11.5 percent.

With a new software system, students get answers to their financial aid questions and notification of their status in half the time it used to take. This frees up the staff to work more closely with students who need personal attention.

Students who are better informed more quickly about their financial aid status have an easier time deciding if they can enroll in college and how many credits they can take.
