For good advice, see a counselor

For good advice about making the right choices at Schoolcraft, be sure to visit with a counselor, someone, say, like Stu Baker. Baker has been at the college for more than 30 years, has worked in several departments, and continues to teach along with his full-time counseling position.

Consequently, he knows the school inside and out. He can help you choose a class or a career, give you tips on how to get through the bureaucracy of higher education, or show you where to get some extra help if you're having a problem.

Baker always has time for students, and they invariably leave his office excited about their decisions. He truly cares about the students and the college, and, like other counselors and academic advisors, will do his best to help you succeed.
