Luncheon speaker will discuss UFOs on February 18

Is there a UFO cover-up as alluded to in the wildly popular television show The X-Files? Have we been visited in the past? Do we have visitors among us now?

Mike Best is an astronomer and former field investigator at the Center for UFO Studies. His affinity and interest in the subject since 1947 coupled with his investigative experience enable him to offer a truly unique perspective on this intriguing topic. With a delightful blend of Robin Williams and Dr. Carl Sagan, he will present an historical overview of UFOs and ETs, and provide his entertaining insight regarding reported sightings, hoaxes and various investigations.

The doors for the luncheon will open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. in the VisTaTech Center on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. The cost of lunch is $16 per person and reservations must be received by February 11.
