2011 Multicultural Fair celebrates diversity

The annual Multicultural Fair is an international celebration that highlights the amazing cultural diversity of the Schoolcraft College community. Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Multicultural Fair features cultural displays, performances, language demonstrations, and international foods.

Upon entering the fair participants will receive a World Map Trivia game, to test their geographic knowledge of the world, and "passports" that can be stamped at each display table they visit. More than two dozen nations and cultures will be represented in displays where Schoolcraft students, faculty and staff will share their culture and answer questions. Performances will run continuously throughout the day, featuring dance, music, art and poetry.

This year's Multicultural Fair will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. The fair is free and open to the public.
