Fast Track Fridays streamline the enrollment process for new students

On November 30 and December 7, 2012, Schoolcraft College is offering Fast Track Fridays as a way for new students to accomplish several steps in the enrollment process in only one visit to campus. Students can take advantage of this streamlined process from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the McDowell Center on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Steps in the enrollment process that can be accomplished during Fast Track Friday visits include:

-   Applying for admission to Schoolcraft
-   Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
-   Completing the course placement test
-   Meeting with a counselor or advisor to discuss course selections
 -  Registering for classes
-   Scheduling a date and time for new-student orientation

Attendees are encouraged to sign up for one of the Fast Track dates in advance, although walk-ins are welcome. Reservations can be made online or by phone at 734-462-4443.

Most Winter 2013 classes begin January 12, but many others have start dates later in the semester. There is still time for students who have not completed the FAFSA to receive financial aid and to register for winter classes.
