Teaching young children to read, to add and to learn about their world can be a very rewarding career. Teachers have relative job stability, and while they may teach similar material each year, their role constantly changes as their students change.

The elementary education transfer program at Schoolcraft provides all the freshmen and sophomore classes an education major must have before transferring to a four-year institution for a bachelor’s degree.

In addition, Schoolcraft elementary education students have the opportunity to observe and work with the children at the Children’s Center.
