Conversation and Coffee a popular learning experience

The Conversation and Coffee Program lets you spend two hours in an informal setting, learning about everything from Chinese art to cleaning up your mess. At each session, a Schoolcraft faculty member or guest lecturers share their expertise on a single topic for an afternoon.

Come with your friends, ask questions, stretch your mind and try something new. This summer, there are sessions, scheduled for May 11, June 1 and June 15. You can learn about Michigan Shadow Towns with Gene Scott, author of the book with the same title; Savoring Shakespeare: The Merchant of Venice, which would be a good refresher before attending the play at Stratford; and World Religions; The Window into our Lives, examining the diversity of religious beliefs.

To register for one or the series of three sessions, contact Continuing Education and Professional Development at (734) 462-4448 or through this Web site. The fee for the series is $37, or $14 for individuals. Seniors registered with the college have a discount.
