Schoolcraft College offers resources for workers-in-transition or seeking a new career

Trained staff and volunteers are available in the Transitions Center to help you learn about every aspect of becoming a college student and can provide individual assistance with questions, and concerns relating to your educational experience. Someone is always there to discuss with you the admissions process, placement testing, making an appointment with an academic advisor, schedule building, and much more.

The college offers great flexibility for students by scheduling day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes are offered in four different formats, including online.

  • MiWorks! and No Worker Left Behind--The Transitions Center is the Schoolcraft College “Hub” for MiWorks! students

  • College with Confidence: A Program for Adults--Earn college credits while enhancing your computer/work skills

  • Transition to College--A six week workshop which introduces adults to Schoolcraft College

  • Return to Learn--Adults who seek to transition into new careers are invited to “Return to Learn” at Schoolcraft College
