The public is invited to attend a two-day Open House event featuring artwork created by students enrolled in the college's art department courses on Tuesday, April 6, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Wednesday, April 7, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Art will be on display in the Forum on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Those who attend the Open Houses will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pieces in the annual Purchase Prize competition. An awards ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m., will culminate the activities. Four students whose artwork is selected in the Purchase Prize competition will each receive $250. Six honorable mention prizes of $25 Schoolcraft College gift cards will also be awarded at that time.
