It is supported by more than 57,000 participating libraries worldwide, and a member record is added every 10 seconds.

Each second a library user searches WorldCat using FirstSearch, and an interlibrary loan request is filled through WorldCat every 4 seconds. That means there are a lot of books being borrowed and read every day by a lot of people all around the world!
