Unlock Free Full Texts
Published: 6/3/2008
Unlock the free full texts of magazines, newspapers and journals with the A to Z Guide to Journals available online.
Use this service, featured on the main page of the library web site, to locate and access the free full texts of magazines, newspapers and journals by title. For example, searching by title for the “Journal of Educational Psychology” A to Z will provide you with a link to the database PsycArticles. It also lists by title the full text coverage of issues available. In this case, the coverage is from 1910- to the present. Clicking on the PsycArticles link will allow you to access the PsycArticles database and also allow you to browse the issues of the journal that are available online (which are listed by year.)
Periodical titles included in the A to Z database can be browsed by title and also by subject. This is a very handy tool to use, if you are looking for a particular periodical title and you wish to see if you can access the content for free through one of the library’s databases. Also if you are using Google Scholar, you should check the A to Z database to see if the full text of the periodical title you are interested in, is available for free through the library.
