There are 35 electronic government publications in our online library catalog that are offered by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, in the Problem-Oriented Guides for Police, Problem-Specific Guides Series. These publications, each less than 100 pages, are handbooks meant to support law enforcement personnel and students.

Search the series title (underlined here) in our catalog’s advanced search page, and a list of all 35 publications will come up. Click on each title, and its hyperlink will appear. All the files are in PDF format. Among the diverse range of topics in the series are People with Mental Illnesses, Shoplifting, and Bomb Threats in Schools, to name just a few.
