“NBC Learn is an excellent resource to help expand upon subjects covered in classroom lecture. It is easy for both faculty and students to register. The subject matter search capabilities are very straight forward. I had posted the NBC Learn web site on my class Blackboard site. In the second CGT157 Prepress class, I was able to show the class a news clip of a old fashioned printing press in action. The search for printing presses revealed half a dozen good video clip options, all ranging from 2-5 minutes. This was the perfect visual supplement to help the student’s learning process in my class.” --Ellen Hochberg, associate adjunct professor, computer graphics technology.
"The access information you provided for registering at NBC Learn worked perfectly. Thanks much. I completed the video tour of NBC Learn and did a little research. This is a very impressive undertaking. NBC has done a lot of things right.
The site is
• Very well organized
• Easy to research - very little wading is required. I love that I did not have to wade through mind-numbing content and play lists - very straightforward
• Loaded with features
• Allows downloads of videos for offline viewing
• Allows us to link to videos within presentations or embed them directly into our multimedia files
• Provides transcripts
• Provides full AP, MLA and Chicago style citations for copy and paste ease (Yay!)
Kudos to Schoolcraft and the IT team. This is just another reason why I pay more to go to Schoolcraft than I would at OCC (Oakland County resident rates)." --Gwen Hill, current Schoolcraft College student
