According to a 2007 PricewaterhouseCoopers survey, 80 percent of high-performing projects use a credentialed project manager. Project managers have to be great multi-taskers and wear many hats and these skills can be acquired with intensive training through such programs as Schoolcraft's Project Management Essentials and Exam Preparation course, which begins Monday, October 1. The class will meet for 10 weeks each Monday from 6 - 9:35 p.m. The class will prepare students to take the Project Management Institute PMP or CAPM certification exam.

More than 400,000 professionals around the world now hold PMI credentials, working in every industry from healthcare, telecommunications and finance to information technology and construction. Each year more project management related jobs require PMP certification.
