Prepared Thanksgiving Dinners available

Fabulous fall fare served up by Culinary Arts students
THANKSGIVING DINNER PREPARED FOR YOU! If you are hosting family and friends in celebration of this uniquely American holiday, you may want to take advantage of the talents and resources of Schoolcraft College's Culinary Arts students by ordering a ready-to-go Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner, which serves 8 – 10 people, includes an oven-ready, seasoned turkey; stuffing; gravy; sweet potatoes; cranberry relish; vegetable medley; breads and the choice of a pumpkin, cherry or apple pie. Cost is $145. To order your Thanksgiving Dinner, which will be ready for pickup on Wednesday, November 26, call ext. 4488 before November 14.
AMERICAN HARVEST PERFECT FOR HOLIDAY GATHERINGS! And don’t forget to also take advantage of the on-campus offerings of the Culinary Arts students and staff when making plans for other upcoming holiday celebrations or meetings.
The American Harvest continues to surprise and delight patrons with a variety of delicious menu selections for both lunch and dinner on Tuesdays – Fridays. Lunch seatings are at 11:45 a.m., noon and 12:15 p.m. The a la carte lunch menu features freshly baked breads, soup, salad, a choice of several different entrées each day, and a selection from the tempting dessert table.
Each week the theme for dinner changes, spotlighting the specialty dishes of a different region of the world. In the coming weeks, the menu will include selections from Germany, France, the Mediterranean and Asia. For a schedule of featured international cuisines, visit www.schoolcraft.edu/harvest. A la carte dinners are served from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday, with each week culminating in an extravagant buffet on Friday.
BREAKFAST BUFFET IS A UNIQUE TREAT! The Breakfast Buffet provides a unique opportunity for guests to get a first-hand look at the inner workings of the college’s state-of-the-art culinary kitchens as they make their selections from the array of breakfast mainstays and delicious surprises. The Breakfast Buffet is available Wednesdays – Fridays from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
MAIN STREET CAFE' SERVES UP TASTY ITEMS! The Main Street Café, which is open 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Tuesdays – Fridays, offers daily specials, fresh-baked breads, pastries, homemade soups, pastas, salads and desserts that can be enjoyed at one of the quaint café tables in VisTaTech or taken home for a quick, easy and delicious solution to dinner.
