Schoolcraft's women's soccer team capped an impressive season with a fourth-place finish at the national tournament held Nov. 18-21 in Topeka, KS.

The Ocelots, who recorded 19 wins against three losses this season, entered the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I championships ranked 9th in the nation.

After an exhausting, three-hour quarterfinal win on penalty kicks over Laramie (WY) County Community College, Schoolcraft advanced to the semifinals to face defending national champion and top-ranked Tyler (TX) Junior College. The Apache downed the Ocelots 2-1, and in the third-place game the following day, Schoolcraft fell 2-0 to Georgia Perimeter College.

Paradise Valley (AZ) Community College topped Tyler 1-0 in the championship game.
