CES 4308 - Minimizing Fall Risks - Dementia Care Certificate

Discover ways to reduce and prevent injuries caused by falls for people with dementia and older, frail adults. Learn to identify mobility options and promote effective plans to remove fall hazards and monitor fall risk factors on an ongoing basis. Prerequisite: CES 4303 Fundamentals of Dementia Care. This class is an elective to complete the certificate. This class is approved for 2 continuing education contacts hours for nurses by Schoolcraft College, 2 continuing education contact hours for social workers by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative and 0.2 CEUs for other professionals.*
